UK Sikh pilgrims arrive in Lahore to pay homage to Guru Nanak Lahore, Nov 3: About 400 Sikh pilgrims have arrived here from London on a 15-day visit to participate in the 534th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion, which commences from Monday. The Daily Times quoted sources as saying that Sardar Autar Singh Singhara is leading the group that plans to visit several Gurdwaras in Pakistan during its stay. Senior officials of the Evacuee Trust Property Board received the Sikh pilgrims, the paper said. |
