Shamed match-fixing trio have built huge fortunes
London: The three shamed Pakistani cricketers have built an affluent life for themselves. Salman Butt, 25, was born into money and educated at the exclusive Beaconhouse school in Lahore . He is believed to own three houses there and is said to be building a new two-storey-villa in the city worth 300,000 pounds. He married Gul Hassan in February 2006 and the couple has a 19-month-old son. Mohammad Asif, 28, is believed to own four properties, including a 650,000-pound villa in Lahore . Another is understood to be in Karachi and a third in his native town of Sheikhupura , reports the News of The World. He also dated Pakistan film star Veena Malik but that relationship ended badly and he married close-friend Sana Hilal in March. Amir, 18, was the pin-up boy of world cricket. Born in a remote village in the Punjab , he is the youngest of seven. One brother earns just seven-pounds-a-day working in a local shop. Following a meteoric rise into the national side, he has recently bought a property in Lahore.
