Richard Gere nursing dislocated shoulder after getting injured on film set
London: Richard Gere has dislocated his shoulder rehearsing a fight scene for his upcoming film 'The Double'. In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Tamer Hassan, his co-star in the film, said that despite the injury, the 'Pretty Woman' star is rigid about doing the physical scenes rather than relying on a body double. Tamer also said that he warned Richard from doing the stunt scenes as he was already facing a little problem with his shoulder, but he went ahead and invited the trouble. "I said, 'Look Richard, just slip in where you can'. But, oh no, not Richard, he went: 'I want to do it'. He did it and dislocated his shoulder," the Daily Star quoted Hassan as saying. "The production was shut down for six weeks because of Richard's shoulder and I just got told on Monday that he is going to come back and do it himself again. So fair play to him, and he looks as beautiful as he always did," he added. The movie is about the murder of a U.S. Senator and is set for release next year.
